Weldability problems of duplex mixer blades
Bryksí, Petr ; Záděra, Antonín (referee) ; Sigmund, Marian (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the causes of fracture of axial stirrer blades made of duplex material 1.4462 for gypsum suspension in Ledvice Power Plant. The theoretical part deals with the problem of welding of duplex steels. The practical part of the work includes the procedure from the preparation of the sample for metallographic, fractographic observation, chemical composition and hardness test. For our experiment, areas at the fracture point were cut out from the supplied blades and then measurements were made on them. Subsequently, we then evaluated the measured data at the fracture site of the blades and the weld joint area. Based on the analysis, technological and design recommendations for further blade production were made.
Repair TS tubes of the steam generator by manual welding
Zeman, Tomáš ; Mrňa, Libor (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with repair of heat exchange tubes of steam generator of Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. Defects in the material of the collector of the steam generator were to such an extent that it was necessary to proceed with manual repair by workers inside the collector. A number of inspection welds, thorough training and preparation were performed to obtain the qualification of the repair. The repair was followed by a series of tests and trials, which ended in a satisfactory result and the equipment was put into operation.
HSS welding process automation in nuclear power plant
Charvátová, Eliška ; Mrňa, Libor (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis compares the manual and mechanized method of welding in the production of dissimilar weld joint. The samples were welded from austenitic and ferritic-perlitic parent materials with using the same type of high alloy filler material. Joint geometry is identical for both methods. Nondestructive and destructive controls were performed, the structural changes in the materials given by the different amounts of heat transfer into the weld joint were compared. Increasing the corrosion resistance of the inner pipe surface is ensured by nickel layer.

Welding method 131 (MIG) according to DIN EN ISO 4063 with a focus on analysis and comparison of the circumferential welding of aluminum pipe welding machine for welding machines BKM / BRP compared to manual semi-automatic welding
VIK, Radovan
In the first part there are defined the basic terms used in the welding of aluminium and its alloys with the repect of related standards. The next part of the thesis described the hand welding of aluminium by the flame welding, arc welding and other special welding methods. The practical part focuses on the defects generated during welding of aluminium and its detection and iterpretation. The final part deals with the semi-automatic and automatic welding of aluminium and compares both methods.
